How do I keep myself entertained when I run on treadmill?

I like to run, but I can only go to a gym due to daycare program. I usually try to run for an hour to two, but my problem is that I get too bored and want to stop. What do I do?

Everyone has different motivators so it really depends on what your fancy is! Some folks like to read, listen to music, watch tv and etc. Depending on your physical condition you either manually or use a pre-defined treadmill program to change the elevation and speed. FYI, IMO running for an hour to two hours is way too long and probably a reason you get bored. You also need to be aware of overtraining which leads to plateauing and injuries as you are doing the same thing over and over again. I might look into classes and or cross training.
