How important is nutrition timing?

1 Answer

Nutrition timing, has a generic formula which is now called (ANTF) better known as Anabolic Nutrient Timing Factors. For an athlete, bodybuilder, or fitness enthusiast looking to improve movement endeavors, needs to pay close attention to the timing factors that keep your body in an anabolic state. Keeping the body strong is what we all want.

The timing factor comes in to play especially at the end of a workout when your muscles are stressed and the time when your muscle cells, and cells in general need carbohydrate ingestion. At a body weight of say 233lbs. you need about 53 grams of carbohydrate. This ingestion of carbohydrate at this time will keep the body in an anabolic state, and prevent it from converting to Catabolism, the break down of structures, meaning musculature. As an athlete, fitness enthusiast or regular performing athletes want to always remain in an anabolic state.
