How important is rest if I am trying to lose weight and How many hours of sleep should I be getting each night?

2 Answers

you should get a full nights rest that is between 6-8 hours...... Rest is so important especially when making a body transformation!!!

Rest is important no matter what :) If you are focused on losing weight, how well you sleep is a key factor.

Your body needs recovery time from daily activities, a small fast. (Hence the term break-fast) For you to receive the most out of the nutritional and physical steps you are taking, don't eat after 8pm the latest. It will tell your body to gear down by the time you hit the hay and gives it the chance to use its energy on healing and recovering instead of digesting :)
