For weight loss which is better: cardio or weight training?

1 Answer

Most people reside with cardio here. I may differ, when I say high intensity training that combines cardio and weight training. We do know that the latest research shows how much calories that fatigued muscles burn during weight training post workout. But doing fast moving circuit training that keeps the heart rate up seems to be efficient for calorie burn. In addition, including the fatiguing effect of the muscles during recovery phase continues the calorie expenditure well into recovery phase. So, functional workouts could also bring in as much cardio as running.
