Your core is in many ways very comparable to a car engine... You may have a ferrari type body, but whats under that hood(shirt) is what determines just how strong the rest of your body is and just how strong it can potentially be. If you have a weak car engine you will only be able to drive so far and so fast and for so long. Same with your core, if it is weak you are much more injury prone and simple everyday activities will seem almost impossible. Best practices to STRENGTHEN your core is- first and foremost dont think your core is just your abs, your core is classified as your entire lumbo-pelvic-hip complex which include a whole lot of important muscles. Second, is to have a plan of attack, like anything you need to design a program to progress you so that there is never a plateau. There are hundreds and hundreds of core exercises and core is one of my main specialties :) Contact me today for your FREE WORKOUT, to learn what muscles are included in the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex, how to properly activate them all, and how to do it in a very specific and structured program!
