Why is cardio so hard for me?
Your nervous system has not been forced to use that much oxygen. Even though every ones body is unique and different, they all operate the same. The uncomfortable sensation is the sluggish circulation that the heart and nerves have been accustom to.

Ruling out any medical issues there could be several reasons. One...you're just not used to moving in that manner for a specific period of time. Two...you may not LIKE the type of cardio you're doing. Or Three you might be allowing yourself to BELIEVE it's so hard. Whenever you first start out on an exercise program your body DOES have to adjust...that's normal. But to be honest (and that's all I know how to be) I've found that most people already go into exercise with a closed mind and in turn they set themselves up for failure.
Now when I say a closed mind I mean they go into the exercise already thinking/telling themselves it's gonna be hard or that they are gonna struggle the entire time. Well GUESS WHAT...if you tell yourself that then that's EXACTLY what will happen. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but typically the body will respond to what your mind is putting out there. You think it's hard...it will be hard. You tell yourself you hate cardio....you WILL hate it.
Try thinking a little more positive and finding things you enjoy. If you don't like the treadmill then DON'T use it. There are soooo many different ways and types of equipment you can use to get in cardio that I'm willing to BET you WILL find something you like as long as you don't go into it with NEGATIVE thoughts! Keep me posted and best of luck!
