30 years in Personal Training.  I have extensive experience providing tailored strength and body training to individuals.  I concentrate on balance by working the core and stabilizers throughout the body.  I motivate my clients to achieve their sustainable goals.  My focus is making weakness into strength for the body.  Every client is unique and so are their needs which is why each session is planned around the needs of the client. I work with individual nutrition plans alongside their workouts

My son Alexander started working with Coach Doug when he was 11 years old. Initially he primarily worked with him on baseball fundamentals, agility, and some strength training. Doug is an excellent coach, extremely knowledgeable, and works great with kids. He was able to improve Alexander's overall game, fielding, throwing and hitting. When Alexander was 12 he decided to focus on basketball instead of baseball. Coach Doug was fantastic he changed his entire workout to focus on what he needed to excel in basketball particularly his jumping. Alexander went from a 12 year old who had never played on an organized team to a starter on his middle school A team a year later. A large part of his quick improvement was due to Coach Doug. He made him faster, stronger, more agile, and able to jump. Now as a freshman in High School Alexander continues to see Coach Doug and is now starting on his Freshman team, as well as playing on the JV team. He has continued to get stronger and faster, in fact he is one of the fastest, and strongest players on the team as a power forward and center, and is able to dunk as a freshman. I credit him with Alexander's rapid improvements and physical abilities. He tailors each workout to the individual athlete, and what their goals are. He ensures they work hard, are motivated, and get everything they can out of each workout without injury. I am confident Alexander would be nowhere near the player and athlete he is if he had never worked with Coach Doug. I would highly recommend Coach Doug for anyone hoping to improve as an athlete.
