I have been an advocate for fitness and health for over a decade. My own journey moving from eating unhealthily and struggling with diets, to cycling then running, the gym, and most recently yoga. I know the struggles many face with feeling overweight (fat, large, curvy, soft, weak..whatever the stories in your head, unfortunately say to you). It is something that can change quite quickly with discipline – not necessarily just discipline on the mat or the gym. More so, changing that story in your head. Finding a positive voice, surrendering to who you are.
I became a Certified Personal Trainer in West Hollywood to help others gain control of their fitness. My focus works the body’s core, increases your fitness level, and gain confidence. The confidence is what drives the desire to continue. It doesn’t start with a flat stomach, or large biceps, it starts with how you perceive yourself. Once you change that, everything else will follow. I will improve your health and help rid you of your negative mind.
As a 200 RYT in the Anusara school, my hatha yoga teaching stretches and opens the body, strengthens and builds muscles, but also emphasizes centering on the heart. Are you in touch with your heart space, are you open to love – both the human emotion and the general acceptance of the community and culture around you. Are you ready to transcend the stories in your head. Yoga will shed constrictions and follow your wanderlust to new levels of yourself.
