At age 6, I became involved in Greco-Roman wrestling. I was able to strengthen my arm drags, bear hugs and headlocks found throughout the heavy resistance sport. At age 10, I decided to study martial arts where I focused on my self-defense. I learned to focus my energy on multiple opponents at one time. At age 13, I jumped head first into bodybuilding. Following in the footsteps of Mr. Olympia (Arnold Schwarzenegger) I felt that he had the same dreams and aspirations that would take me to the top. At age 16, I started competing in bodybuilding on an amateur level.
I turned professional in 2007.
