What to expect

San Jose Functional Fitness is a private fitness training company ran out of Chrome Fit in San Jose. Our results driven training is designed to get clients the results they desire and provide a unique experience at the same time. We put our client's results and relationships first and are always looking for ways to connect further.. The gym has everything needed to keep workouts fun, challenging and new. A 600 sq ft tumbling mat, 20 ft infinity rig, bars and bumper plates, dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, ropes, gymnastics rings, and Concept2 rowers are just some of the toys we have to get you the results you want! My Favorite Client Story

Rob is a client of mine who has lost 60 pounds and has seriously improved his quality of living. He's doing stuff in the gym that neither of us though would be possible. We started with the basics and now he's pretty much on trainer level minus the advanced bodyweight maneuvers. I'm absolutely thrilled for him!

My Philosophy

Certified Personal Trainer by American College of Sports Medicine and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. The body needs to be able to move and perform to its best ability. We focus on flexibility and mobility first and foremost to fix an joint dysfunction. From there we work on skill (jumping rope, gymnastics), strength (resistance training) and conditioning (high intensity cardio). We use many different methods to keep things fresh and fun. You're always working at getting better at a wide range of skills in the gym.

My Experience

Both Jake and Nate have been in a gym since the age of thirteen. Experience with yoga, pilates, corrective exercise, powerlifting, strongman, olympic lifting, and gymnastics to name a few disciplines.
