About Max

I have over 25 years experience in the Martial Arts/Fitness and 12+ as an instructor. I have coached those of all ages from very young to very old. My students and I have won gold medals in kickboxing and tournament style sparring. I have also helped clients achieve their goals such as weight-loss and becoming confident in self-defense situations. Originally from Georgia, I have traveled and lived in Seattle and India to study nutrition and herbalism. My passion is helping others become balanced in their mind, body, and spirit.


 I offer 3 main training routes: Exercise (Health/Fitness), Traditional Martial Arts (Kung Fu), and Competition(Kickboxing/Competitive Sparring). 


In addition to these, specialized classes/seminars such as Self-Defense, Sanshou and Cardio-kickboxing may be scheduled.

I met Max In Washington state and asked for help training for upcoming grappling competitions. Max was so thorough with nutrition, balance, specific technique (in both practical fighting and specialized Kung fu), enduarance and strength training, and mental preparedness that I grew tremendously and started a winning streak that continues today. Max Myers is a fantastic coach. I started training in kung fu with him in 2013. In the past decade, I have trained with many teachers, and Max is definitely one of the best.
