What to expect
Christina is an ISSA Certified Master Trainer with specialties in Senior Fitness and Exercise Therapy. She has worked with clients with health issues ranging from diabetes to hypertension to stroke. She enjoys working with Baby Boomers and is an expert in the field of Senior Fitness. Her most current project is helping to update and revise the Senior Fitness certification course curriculum for the ISSA.
She is an adjunct professor of Senior Fitness and a regular guest contributor to the International Sports Sciences Association, College of Exercise Science blog.

Christina provides detailed tracking of all fitness measures for her clients, including; cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility. Tracking this data is a key component in achieving success in any program! Imagine planning your next vacation without knowing your starting point...you wouldn't know where to begin. When you work with Christina, your fitness program will begin with a questionnaire and fitness assessment to determine your starting point and plan your goals.
After your initial assessments, Christina will provide you with a color-coded workout program which will help you integrate easily into each group training session. There are no "healthier" colors than others, rather, your color helps you modify exercises to suit your goals and current health condition.
After hiring Christina, you'll begin a 12-week group fitness program together. You choose whether you want to exercise with the group 3x, 2x, or 1x per week. The more you show up, the better your progress will be, and the more fun you will have! Accountability is KEY in your program success and making friends within your fitness group helps to keep you accountable.
You will also be able to schedule calls with Christina regarding questions about your program, your progress, your goals, or anything that comes up along the way! She is always available via email.
There are very few fitness professionals as dedicated to the health and wellness of the Senior community as Christina. There are even fewer with her knowledge and experience with Senior clientele.
