About Erika

Erika was an active kid growing up playing basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey. She, however, discovered her love of running and fitness later as a senior in high school. Her passion led her to earn an Exercise Science and Sport Studies degree from Rutgers University, and ACE Personal Training & Group Fitness Instructor certifications right after graduation. Erika's philosophy is that exercising should not feel like work. Fitness should be an enjoyable experience, and developing a routine will alleviate stress that comes in everyday life. Her goal for her client's is for them to reach their ultimate fitness goals, whether it's getting faster or stronger, as well as enjoy working out in a comfortable space!

I have worked with Erika for over 3 years and have not even thought of looking for another trainer. She truly cares about the client and makes sure that the exercises are challenging, but at the same time safe depending on body mood. Over the years, due to work/races ,I have had many injuries and Erika has been able to adapt the workouts in a way that they are challenging but at the same time not strenuous to the injury. She is able to provide training in diverse number of activities; weights, body workouts, TRX, bands, Bosu ball and running. She has extensive knowledge of the exercises and is always looking for new exercises that are great calorie-burners. I truly love working with Erika, our sessions are definitely the best and definitely made a change in my life.
