Born and raised in New York City, at a young age I developed an interest in sports, exercise, health and wellness. I graduated from Franklin Pierce College and earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Environmental Science and Minor in Biology. Following college, I was employed for the City of New York as an Investigator. I subsequently resigned and found my calling -- promoting the value of preventive medicine through exercise.
I have been a Personal Trainer for seven plus years and have certifications as an Instructor in KettleBell training, Advanced Stretching Techniques, Older Population, Integrated Stretching, pre and post natal, and Boxing.
I am experienced in TRX Suspension training, pre and post-natal training, instruct total body condition classes and outside small group training. I am daily practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Renzo Gracie under John Danaher and I enjoy teaching and sharing self-defense technique through submission grappling.
I understand the importance of exercise, and enjoy helping people adapt a lifestyle that keeps you healthy and fit. It has been proven through countless methods, and the fact remains that exercise and staying fit is preventive medicine.
