For more than 20 years, I have enjoyed helping others to empower themselves to achieve an improved quality of life. My mission is to empower people of any age with a training approach I call Lifestyle Fitness, which employs practical techniques that improve one's ability to perform the most common activities in their daily life. Be it working in the garden, doing laundry, or rearranging furniture, my simple exercises are designed to enhance one's ability to execute the most common movements while protecting and strengthening the lower back -- one of the most frequently injured parts of the body.
I endeavor to help my clients enjoy an improved quality of life by carefully monitoring their posture, form, and technique as they perform custom-designed exercises. My nutrition coaching employs easy-to-follow portion control methods rather than tedious calorie counting. I don't only explain the What and How of each aspect of my fitness program, but also the Why. I enjoy witnessing clients' satisfaction when they actually see transformation for themselves as a result of my training and encouragement.

November 12, 2016 "Kevin rocks!! Kevin has been my trainer for about 8 months. I am so glad I was referred to him and I look forward to our weekly sessions. He challenges me every time and I am seeing progress. Without him, I would not be doing so many things. I thought I couldn't. He told me to try and half the time, I surprised myself. The other times made me want to keep working. The strength I gained working with Kevin actually saved me from serious injury-or worse. Last month, I was on vacation in California and I was hiking in Muir Woods. I slipped and fell and was hanging onto a ledge above a ravine and it was a long way down. If this had happened to me months ago, I honestly don't think I would have had the strength to hang on until help arrived to pull me up. I don't think I ever told Kevin how much I appreciate working with him until I came home from this trip. He is a great trainer and truly a great man.
