What to expect

As a strength and conditioning specialist I train both male and female clients looking to improve their health and overall fitness level using 1-on-1 personal training sessions customized to meet your goals. I work with everyone from stay at home mothers to competitive athletes. As your trainer I will help you get fit, get stronger and feel awesome! Why 1-on-1 personal sessions? Training one-on-one results in a setting of accountability among you and your trainer. In contrast to other cookie cutter programs, I approach each client as an individual; there is no one-size-fits-all training plan. Your training with me is dependent on your fitness assessment, personal requirements and goals. I will take the time to listen to you and understand what you are looking to achieve as well as how you are feeling with the present program. When necessary, adjustments are made to your training to satisfy your objectives and advance your progress. My goal is to push you outside your comfort level but never force you to do more than you can handle. Working closely with my clients to individualize their training sessions is only the beginning. I also constantly monitor their form to ensure the exercises are being performed correctly and with proper muscle activation. This leads to more productive training sessions, faster progress and less chance of injury.

My Experience

Before starting my own Austin personal training business I trained clients in a private studio environment. That experience exposed me to many different training styles and helped me cultivate my own training philosophy. Personally, I have been weight training since 2008 and began competitive powerlifting in 2012. In that time I have set numerous state, American and world records. Some of my achievements include:- Pound-for-pound best female raw squat in the nation 410lbs. @ 132 bodyweight. - I Currently Hold the Raw World Record in Squat and Total in USPA. - 2015 Placed 1st & Best Lifter @ USPA Nationals. - 2014 Placed 1st @ IPL Worlds. - Rank 1st in the 132 Raw Open throughout all federations. - Rank 2nd for the "All Time Record" for Raw Squat Without Wraps at 132lbs.
