Being a Soccer Goalkeeper for 12 years (high school, college, club), I also do one-one-one Goalkeeper Training. Corrective Exercise/Rehabilitation - Formulating programs that focus on muscular deficiencies, imbalances, or injuries to make the athlete stronger, maximizing performance potential. Preventative Methods-Taping, wrapping, K-tape application. Sports Therapy/Treatment -Hands-on-Therapy (pre- or post-workout) to allow for tissue healing and recovery, Soft tissue work - active and passive release - best for muscle adhesions and tightness - Massage - many techniques which assist in scar tissue deformation, decrease in tightness, or increase in tissue elasticity and blood flow - Stretching - active and passive - best for tissue elasticity and pre/workout cool-down-,Joint Mobilization - mainly allows for increase in Range of Motion-,Thera-cupping - best for loosening fascial tissue -Modalities - Ice Massages, Ice, Heat Therapy, TENS/E-stim-Treatment --Geared to following the concept of RICE, etc. - Home exercise programs and self-care techniques. Concussion Protocols and Plans - Working with Team Doctors (which I already have in place) to progressively get the athlete back to baseline and ultimately to full return to play. Nutrition Education - Providing nutritional guidelines/advice/recommendations for fat loss, muscle toning, lean muscle mass gaining. Also, support on the how to's and why's of supplements in performance training.
